Who We Are

Mission: To enhance the quality of life for elderly and disabled neighbors by providing essential yard work and gardening services.

The Neighbors Eden Project is a community-driven initiative based in Midland, Texas, that focuses on providing essential yard work and gardening services for elderly and disabled neighbors. The goal is to support these individuals by maintaining their outdoor spaces and ensuring that they can enjoy a safe, well-kept environment without the burden of fines for overgrown yards.

What We Do

The organization organizes weekly volunteer events, where individuals, known as “Yard Heroes,” come together to assist with tasks such as yard clean-up, seasonal gardening, and general maintenance. By fostering a sense of community and compassion, the Neighbors Eden Project works to improve the quality of life for those in need and build stronger community ties.

The project collaborates with other local nonprofits, including Senior Life Midland, Meals on Wheels, Adult Protective Services, and Casa de Amigos, to expand its reach and serve more individuals. Volunteers are encouraged to join these efforts, which not only help maintain homes but also provide a positive, supportive environment for everyone involved.
