Who We Are

Mission Abilities Ranch empowers individuals with neurodiverse abilities and physical or cognitive challenges through equine-assisted therapy and life skills training. Our mission is to help each participant build confidence, independence, and a sense of purpose by focusing on what they can do, not what they can’t. Through our unique LifeTrack program, we guide individuals on a lifelong journey of personal development, growth, and discovery. Vision Our vision is to create a world where individuals of all ages and abilities have access to compassionate, effective therapy and life training that leads to meaningful progress, greater independence, and lifelong confidence. Abilities Ranch envisions a supportive, inclusive community in which every person is recognized for their strengths and empowered to live with dignity and purpose. History Founded in 2022 and located in Midland, Texas, Abilities Ranch was born out of a decade of hands-on experience volunteering with equine therapy programs. After witnessing the powerful, measurable results of this form of therapy—and the overwhelming demand with waiting lists often exceeding a year—we saw the need for a dedicated space to serve more individuals in our community. At Abilities Ranch, we believe in nurturing strengths, not limitations. Our goal is to foster a compassionate environment where children and adults alike can build life skills, engage in therapeutic riding, and take small, steady steps toward greater independence and self-worth.

What We Do

Abilities Ranch is a nonprofit equine-assisted therapy organization committed to helping individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges achieve their highest potential.
