Keep Midland Beautiful is dedicated to educate and inspire our community to take action to create a clean, beautiful and waste-free Midland. Our vision is of Midland as a city of environmentally committed, well-informed citizens whose efforts result in a clean and beautiful place to live.
KMB was founded in 1983 by community leaders who saw the need for litter prevention education. Today we address this and much more in an effort to make our vision a reality.
What We Do
KMB coordinates two annual community cleanup events, oversees litter prevention and abatement programs in partnership with the City of Midland, holds an annual community-wide recycling event, educates thousands of students and adults in the areas of litter prevention, beautification and waste management, and organizes beautification projects in the community.
