Permian Basin Gifts of Hope, Inc.

Mission: To provide hope for the heart, soul, mind, and body of cancer patients and their caregivers.

Gifts of Hope is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization committed to serving cancer patients and their families offering support, lodging, information and networking. Gifts of Hope provides a home away from home through lodging (Hope House), assists with medical expenses, and helps ease the cancer patient’s emotional and physical stress while coping with cancer. Our purpose is to help ease the burden of cancer while providing hope. Gifts of Hope is dedicated to supporting cancer patients within the Permian Basin.

Gifts of Hope provides comprehensive support to cancer patients and their families in Midland. Hope House offers free lodging in a warm and supportive environment for up to 16 patients and caregivers, featuring private rooms, shared living spaces, and a kitchen. Financial assistance is available for prescription costs, durable medical equipment, and dental care, including tooth extractions and dentures, to help patients prepare for radiation treatment. Transportation support includes local rides to appointments and gas gift cards for those traveling outside the Permian Basin. Additionally, the organization helps cover urgent medical costs for uninsured patients and serves daily lunches to infusion patients, as well as weekly meals for Hope House residents, prepared by the Hope House Honeybees. Additionally, Gifts of Hope covers urgent medical examinations for uninsured or underinsured patients to reduce financial stress during treatment.
