Volunteer Opportunities From: Midland College Legacy Scholars Program

Volunteer: Turn Your Thursday Nights Into Something That Matters

Looking for a way to earn volunteer hours, meet great people, and make a real difference in Midland?

Neighbors Eden Project invites Midland College Legacy students to roll up their sleeves and serve with us on Thursday nights.

March 19, 2026 – October 29, 2026

Thursdays | 5:45 PM – 8:30 PM

Each week, our volunteers head out to help elderly and disabled neighbors who can’t maintain their yards on their own.

Together, we clear debris, pull weeds, trim plants, and refresh outdoor spaces so these homeowners can once again enjoy a safe, welcoming yard.

It’s hard work, but it’s the kind of work that feels good. In just a couple of hours, you’ll see the difference you made with your own hands.

What you’ll gain:

Volunteer hours Hands-on service experience New friendships and teamwork The chance to directly impact someone’s life in our community

And there’s one more perK:  Every work night wraps up with a shared meal and time to relax together, celebrating what we accomplished as a team.

Bonus opportunity for students:
Through our Youth in Action program, students can earn 2 additional volunteer hours by participating in leadership, service planning, or coordinating volunteer teams during the season.

Get your hands dirty for a great cause.

                Show up.

                              Serve well.

Leave knowing you made someone’s day better.

Sign up and join us on Thursday nights. Your help matters more than you think.
