Neighbors Eden Project invites Midland College Legacy students to roll up their sleeves and serve with us on Thursday nights. March 19, 2026 – October 29, 2026 Thursdays | 5:45 PM – 8:30 PM Each week, our volunteers head out to help elderly and disabled neighbors who can’t maintain their yards on their own. Together, we clear debris, pull weeds, trim plants, and refresh outdoor spaces so these homeowners can once again enjoy a safe, welcoming yard. It’s hard work, but it’s the kind of work that feels good. In just a couple of hours, you’ll see the difference you made with your own hands. Volunteer: Neighbors Eden Project Youth in Action Leadership ProjectStudents must volunteer in person on the day of service to be eligible for project hours. Neighbors Eden Project workdays take place on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, through March. These are extra hours you can earn once you complete the work on that Saturday. Schedule adjusts after daylight saving time begins. Serve with purpose while building leadership and communication skills. This Youth in Action volunteer opportunity allows students to earn up to 3 verified volunteer hours through a structured service project that follows same-day, in-person volunteer work with Neighbors Eden Project serving elderly and disabled neighbors. Project hours are only available to students who participate in the actual workday. Eligibility RequirementTo participate in the project activities below, students must: Students who do not volunteer on the workday are not eligible to earn project hours.
