Volunteer: Hospice of Midland is looking Artist!!Art from the Heart Are you artistically inclined? We're looking for volunteers willing to share their creative talents in order to bless our patients, facilities and their staff through painting on their windows. We have several facilities in town that are excited about the opportunity - now we just need the volunteers to make it happen!
The hours can be flexible with your schedule and all art supplies are provided.

Every Wednesday Hospice of Midland partners with Gifts of Hope to prepare and serve a light lunch to those patients undergoing infusion treatments at the Texas Oncology-Midland Allison Cancer Center in the Craddick Medical Office Building at Midland Memorial Hospital. This volunteer opportunity is every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m. This is Hospice of Midland's most popular volunteer opportunity and a short additional training is required. Volunteers will assist in meeting the needs of Hospice of Midland patients and family members, working with the HOM team, as requested by the R.N. Case Manager or other HOM staff. Volunteers may be asked to perform any of the following:
Stay with a patient while patient's care giver leaves to run errands or take a much needed break.
Read to the patient.
Stop by for a friendly visit.
Volunteers must be registered Hospice of Midland volunteers to participate. Please contact the Hospice of Midland Volunteer office for further information.
