Volunteer: Teen Camp FacilitatorTeen Camp is for children aged 7th-12th grade. Teens explore the world of feelings, and utilize coping tools through the creative and expressive arts. They love to spend time in the music, art, and drama room. Teen Camp will be held June 29th - July 2nd from 1-5 PM. Volunteers are asked to be here from 12:45 PM-5:30 PM. All volunteers are required to attend volunteer training and submit to background checks. We serve children 4 years to 18 years who have experienced a loss due to death, divorce, separation, incarceration, deployment, foster care, or other painful transition. Through facilitated peer support groups, children share experiences, use creative arts as tools of expression, and acquire coping skills to work through the tough issues that accompany grief. Because we are an outreach of Hospice of Midland, services are provided at no charge to participants.
