The duties consist of welcoming visitors, directing them to exhibits, and taking information for research requests. There are some basic technology tasks that are simple to perform and docents will also check the restroom facilities and do simple maintenance as needed. Society members who serve as docents will have a key to the museum. If you prefer to work with a member or another person please indicate this. Volunteers are not required to commit to a regular schedule but choose days they can work on a month-by-month basis.
