Volunteer: Help Share Midland's History: Become A Student VolunteerStudent volunteers are needed to assist regular docents at the Midland County History Museum during museum hours. Museum is located at 200 North Main in downtown Midland.

The duties consist of welcoming visitors, directing them to exhibits, and taking information for research requests. There are some simple basic technology tasks that are simple to perform and docents will also check the restroom facilities and do simple maintenance as needed. Society members who serve as docents will have a key to the museum. If you prefer to work with a member or another person please indicate this. Volunteers are not required to commit to a regular schedule but choose days they can work on a month-by-month basis. Weatherford), assist with guests as needed, and help take tents down after the event. Volunteers should arrive at 5:30 pm to help with setup for event that begins at 6:30 pm.
