Discover the science behind the energy that powers our world at this science-packed, high energy Family Science Night on Thursday, January 24th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. Power up as you experiment with static electricity, drill edible core samples, create your own energy bracelet, explore wind energy, and much more! We would like to extend a special thanks to Chevron for making this powerful night possible. Volunteers will help to facilitate a station that will feature either a hands-on experiment, demonstration, or creative activity. Please dress comfortably and appropriately (i.e. no short shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, etc). Volunteers are expected to arrive at 5:30 pm. Please check in at the table in the front lobby to get your station assignments. Please contact the Education Department at 432-683-4403 if you have any questions or concerns.
