Halloween Celebration Event

This year our annual carnival will be limited to our members and children in our after-school program.  During the event we are asking our volunteers to run booths like cake walk, bean bag toss, face painting, hula hoop toss and a few other games.  We will supply all of the prizes and activities.  This event is from 9am-1pm, but volunteers have the opportunity to come in and help anytime during those hours.  After the event, volunteers are required to clean up your area.  (Reminder: This event will not have our usual games and only have a few supplies per booth)  During your volunteer time, we ask you to put away your phone and make sure to interact with the kids during this fun event.  Volunteers are required to wear mask, stop at the front desk to sign in and sanitize your hands before entering the downstairs gym where the event will be held.  The YMCA will provide water during this 4 hour event, you are allowed to bring in food, but can not contain peanuts.  After the event you will need to sign out to receive credit.  Kid friendly costumes are allowed during the event.  Please email Abbey at aborrego@midlandymca.org: if you are interested in face painting or are UNABLE to attend the full event, and let me know what times you will be available.
