The Habitat construction crew builds 6 days a week and could always use a couple more hands. Tony Valles, our Construction Superintendent has been building and teaching people how to build for over 40 years. He is an excellent teacher who is willing to take the time to teach the why as well as the how. Keith Jackson the Construction Assistant has worked with hundreds of volunteers and knows how to get the job done and have fun doing it! From individuals to groups up to 20 people, Midland Habitat can use your skills. From the kindergarten teacher who is an expert at play-doh (putty is not much different) to the contractor building 15 homes at a time, Habitat can find a place for you. The crew will never ask you to do anything that you are not comfortable doing, and are willing to teach you how to use any tool on our site correctly.
