Volunteer: Family Science Night: Body Works

Volunteers will help to facilitate a station that will feature either a hands-on experiment, demonstration, or creative activity centered around the amazing body systems that keep us moving, thinking and growing.  Please dress comfortably and appropriately (i.e. no short shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, etc).  Volunteers are expected to arrive at 5:30 pm. We will finish the evening around 8:30. 

All materials and information will be provided; NO experience required!

Please check in at the table in the front lobby to get your station assignments.  Please contact the Education Department at 432-683-4403 or education@petroleummuseum.org if you have any questions or concerns. 

Volunteer hours count towards Legacy, ECHS, NHS, Texas Scholars and more!

Building Bots Robotics and Engineering Funlabs engage tinkering minds to explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Volunteers will assist students with team-building activities, engineering challenges, and creative robotic designs.  Volunteers will arrive at 5:00 pm and we will finish at 8:00 pm.  Dress comfortably and appropriately. The class is open to students in third through eighth grade.
