One Accord for Kids

Imagine a loving, local family for every child in West Texas – providing healing, permanency, and stability with the support of their community. That’s our vision at One Accord for Kids. With your help, we will achieve our mission of transforming lives in West Texas by strengthening families and connecting communities. We noticed a disconnect between our community and those involved with the child-welfare system, so One Accord for Kids acts as a bridge between the two.

One Accord for Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families impacted by the foster care system. We offer programs like Foster West Texas Kids and Adopt West Texas Kids. We operate The Attic Resource Center, which provides clothing, supplies, and essential items to foster and at-risk families. Through the Heart Gallery of West Texas, we raise awareness for children awaiting adoption with powerful portraits and stories. Our Family Help West Texas tool connects families in crisis with local resources. Additional initiatives include Permian Basin Giving Tree, which provides holiday gifts for children in CPS care. Together, these efforts work to keep children connected to their communities and surrounded by support.
