Who We Are

Family Promise of Midland's mission is "ending homelessness, one family at a time". Our vision is to help low-income families achieve lasting independence. The Midland Interfaith Hospitality Network (MIHN) opened its doors to its first family on February 14, 2011. Family Promise of Midland's Families Forward Transitional Housing began in December of 2013 with the support of a grant from United Way of Midland to further support families through low-income housing and support services.

What We Do

Family Promise of Midland is a nonprofit organization committed to helping low-income families achieve lasting independence. Applicant families must be homeless and have at least one child under the age of 17. The Midland Interfaith Hospitality Network (MIHN) works in partnership with local congregations and volunteers to provide shelter, meals and support services to families. Families Forward Transitional Housing is designed to further assist and support families that have graduated from the IHN or other case management programs. Upon acceptance, each family pays a monthly fee for a home that is owned and maintained by Family Promise of Midland.
