Senior Life Midland

Senior Life Midland is a private, non-profit agency in Midland that offers a variety of programs designed to meet recognized needs of the older population. We look to serve aging individuals which are not being acted upon by other agencies, organizations or churches so that no one goes without help. We work to improve quality of life for seniors in Midland and help them maintain health, dignity and independence as they grow older. We depend largely on the generosity of our community to operate.

Senior Life Midland is so much more than a meal. While the primary program for Senior Life is Meals on Wheels, our advocacy programs for our seniors are often the most rewarding part of what we do.  Our mission is to address challenges related to aging and develop efficient, flexible and compassionate ways to meet the needs of our community. In coordination and collaboration with other programs, unduplicated services are provided to address such needs as hunger and malnutrition, loneliness and social isolation, home safety and security, aging information and education. Our vision is to improve the quality of life for seniors in Midland.

Senior Life Midland works within Midland County addressing food insecurity along with the wrap-around services such as Handyman, One Day At A Time and Meals on Wheels for Paws.  We are able to meet the needs of our community. We help seniors find purpose and meaning as well as true human connection.  We offer tailored services in response to everyday emergency needs faced by our seniors.

Through our Senior Corp programs such as RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), Foster Grandparents and Senior Companions, we connect today’s 55+ with the people that need them the most. We help volunteers become mentors, and companions to help people in need, or contribute to their job skills and experiences to community projects and organizations.
