Who We Are
Basin PBS is your local public television station serving 19 counties across West Texas and Southeastern NM. We’re a nonprofit organization dedicated to education, storytelling, and community connection. As the only PBS station in the region, we bring free and trusted content and meaningful programming to families, educators, and lifelong learners.
What We Do
We broadcast award-winning PBS programs like PBS NewsHour, NOVA, Nature, and Sesame Street, and we also produce local stories that reflect the unique culture of West Texas. Beyond the screen, we host free community events, educational workshops, and special screenings to engage and inspire our neighbors. Volunteers help us bring these events to life by welcoming guests, assisting with activities, and making a positive impact in our community.
