Who We Are
The mission of the Midland Storytelling Festival is to utilize story to entertain, stimulate, promote and develop the interest of the American public in the oral tradition of storytelling. The art of storytelling is a performance-based activity that fosters cultural appreciation, expands understanding of the human experience and it does so in a way that is lively, creative and unforgettable.
What We Do
For more than 20 years, we have held a storytelling festival for the community. Because of generous community support, these events are now free to the public. In addition to the evening concerts on the festival weekend, we provide storytelling workshops for the community to encourage children and adults to create and tell their own stories.
