Do you love being outdoors, enjoy working with children, and want to inspire curiosity about nature? Join us as a volunteer docent for WILD at The Preserve—our seasonal early childhood education program focused on connecting young learners with the natural world through science, play, and exploration.
As a docent, you’ll help guide children and their caregivers through nature-based learning stations, assist with hands-on activities, and support our education team in making each weekly session a fun and meaningful experience. No teaching experience is necessary—just a passion for nature and a willingness to learn.
Fall 2025 Docent Schedule
Docents are needed on Thursday mornings for one or both of the following sessions:
Session 1: 9:30–10:30 AM
Session 2: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
