Maypole Family Festival

The Midland Historical Society is hosting a special educational, family-based event at the historic Brown-Dorsey home. Those attending will have the opportunity to participate in games of yesteryear (maypole dance, croquet, hopscotch, washers, horseshoes, spoon egg race, and jump rope). Other activities will include picnic basket decorating, pictures with a 1911 Model T Ford Torpedo. 

Tours of the home will also be available.

All events are free of charge, but donations are encouraged to support the restoration and maintenance of the historic home.

Student volunteer duties will include assisting with specific events, directing visitors, assisting with tours, or other general duties. No prior training is required. Volunteers will be contacted regarding possible assignments.
