Description

The Walk to End Alzheimer's is our largest community event, held outdoors, to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association. We need volunteers in various roles.

Opportunities at various stations include:

  • Set up and tear down of the event.  This includes tables, chairs, tents, and signs along the route
  • Check-in and registration area to welcome participants and ensure everyone is registered for the event.
  • Advocacy and Programs and services to help educate participants
  • Promise Garden Area to help pre-plant a garden and assist participants in flower pickup
  • Refreshment area to keep stocked and clean
  • Tribute Wall area
  • Photo areas to assist with any props and photography for our teams and participants
  • Start line cheer squad to cheer on Walkers as they head out on the Walk route
  • Thank-You Brigade to thank Walkers and cheer as they finish the Walk route
  • Photographer for the event
  • Pet Area to keep water and treats available for our pets
